DANIEL KYRI is a Jeff Award-nominated actor, filmmaker, writer, singer, and curator. He is featured on this season of Chicago Med and in Stephen Cone’s award-winning film Henry Gamble’s Birthday Party, now streaming on Netflix. He has starred in productions at Lookingglass, Steppenwolf, Chicago Shakespeare and Goodman Theatres, and was most recently seen in Robert OHara’s production of Macbeth at Denver Center for Performing Arts. He is a recent recipient of Windy City Times’ 30 under 30 honor for 2018. In 2017 he was named Chicago’s Best Actor by the Chicago Reader after acclaimed leading roles in Steppenwolf’s Monster and Goodman’s Objects in the Mirror and was awarded the Make a Wave grant from 3Arts. He is represented by Stewart Talent and is currently working on his writing/directing/producing debut the T with co-creator Bea Cordelia, for which they were named Chicago’s 2018 Filmmakers-in-Residence. He can currently be seen as Hamlet at The Gift Theatre in Jefferson Park.
