Christyn S. Henson is currently the Business Development Program Manager for the Chicago Urban League. She is transitioning to run her small business full time, as Chief Solutionist for Project Forward, an economic development consultancy. Throughout her 10+ year careers in microenterprise development, she has been responsible for small business retention and attraction efforts, which include management and operations support; assistance navigating municipal services and incentives; loan preparation and packaging; as well as place making initiatives. She has leveraged more than $1 M in financing for small businesses and corridor programs.
