Announcing Producer and Non-Profit Leader Saudia Davis On The Global Committee
Saudia Davis is an artist at her core and a social entrepreneur who is driven and motivated by the creative process on all levels. Born in San Francisco and raised in Marin County CA, Saudia is a lover of nature, animals, and people. When people ask Saudia what she does, she says “I create spaces for artists to play… to reach their full potential.”
Saudia has been attached to the film and TV industry for over 20 years which has provided her the ability to work and thrive on both coasts, LA to NY and now Chicago. Former TV Host for Home & Garden TV (HGTV) shows Splurge & Save. She can grab a mic and be more comfortable than most in front of large crowds.
Along with a driven team of believers, Saudia and crew are renovating a 1000 seat theatre auditorium on the West Side of Chicago in the Austin Community. On 09/09/09, she founded Smarty Pants Are Leaders (SPAL), which teaches youth empowerment through Art & Gardening so that young people feel empowered reminding them that their voice and lives matter. When she is not focused on SPAL’s Catalyst Circle Rock Elementary partner since 2010, she is advising talent, encouraging someone to reach for their dream or producing a film.
