What is Whiteboard?

Whiteboard helps you clear the clutter and focus on what matters most in your day, whether it be collaborating with clients and colleagues on projects at work or to-do’s at home.

Entrepreneurs Should Know About Having The Right Team

There are a number of variables to consider when it comes to building the right team. First and foremost is culture. Are the individuals you are bringing onto the team share the same vision and passions as you with regards to the company and the direction to take it? Something that you want is passion amongst your team. Team members that stand up for what they believe in and express their opinions. Last thing you want is a ‘yes man’ mentality. You want people to say it stinks when it stinks. You want team members that believe in what you are doing. Most importantly, you want a team of individuals around you that are not only smarter than you but ones you can work with day in and day out. Ones that will be there for the good times and bad because you will have both and only the strong survive.

Yes, Comfort Is In Uncertainty

As an ‘entrepreneur’, you are presented with a blank canvas and you never know what tomorrow holds. You control your destiny. To me that is exciting. Unlike a typical 9-5 job, you know when you are getting paid, know when you are going to be at work, etc. It is all predictable. I am not a fan of that. I am a workaholic as well. My life is too short to sit and do nothing. I want to make a difference be a positive influence on society and the best way I believe I can contribute in doing this is by doing what I do. Here is how to be a great connector on Social Media.

My Entrepreneurial History

  • In Highschool held 2 job while playing two sports
  • Created a business in high school detailing cars
  • Started a lawn mowing business in highschool
  • Launched App Tank and was Featured on Forbes 30 under 30 after college
  • Launched Divvy, now acquired
  • Will be launching Whiteboard

Since a very young age, I was always trying to find a way to make money. Growing up in high school I held two jobs while playing on two sports teams. My first entrepreneurial ventures started in high school when I started detailing cars. I would travel around to clients houses and detail their cars. This was when mobile detailing wasn’t around yet. I held those clients all the way through college. I was also the guy that started a lawn mowing business with my buddy in high school. Throughout high school I would always try to find ways to make money.

My first real venture, as I would put it, happened after I graduated college. I launched AppTank, which is a app development marketplace. With AppTank, I received numerous of recognitions including Forbes 30 under 30 as well as being published in numerous of national publications ranging from Entrepreneur Magazine to CNBC. About a year after I launch AppTank, I launched an app called Divvy. Not long after that was acquired. Now we are on the current chapter of life which is Whiteboard and we are really excited what the future holds.

Entrepreneurs Should Know  These 5 Tips When Starting A Business

Image

  1. Life is a marathon, not a sprint. Overnight success stories are years in the making.
  2. Be ready to make sacrifices. How bad do you want it? When you want it as bad as you want to breathe, this is when you will be successful.
  3. Be humble. Listen to others.
  4. Treat others with respect. Everyone is a customer or client.
  5. Give back to your community.
