Former College Athlete Turned Researcher Turned Singer

Jack Mosbacher  began his professional stage career as a featured chorister with San Francisco Opera and San Francisco Symphony and worked with the Grammy-winning men’s a cappella group, Chanticleer, and Ragazzi, the Peninsula Boys Chorus.up to something amazing.

“College baseball player. Policy researcher. Author. Actor. Producer. Singer songwriter. All around entertainer. Jack Mosbacher is a true jack of all trades, having accomplished by his mid-20s more than many do in a lifetime.  Following in his family’s footsteps, Mosbacher later attended Stanford University where he played varsity baseball, conducted economic research abroad in Uganda, and earned a degree in Political Science. (Fun fact: Condoleeza Rice was his undergraduate advisor.) After graduation, Mosbacher spent three years as a research associate for the university’s Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law. But as a young man of many passions, he soon shifted his focus quite drastically to the world of entertainment. Today, the rising star is based in New York City, where he spends his time acting in short films, playing piano, and singing with his latest outfit, the Jack Mosbacher Band. ” SF Chronicle

Jack has performed with many of the Bay Area’s leading theatre companies, most recently completing a run as Anthony Hope in Sweeney Todd with Theatreworks, alongside Broadway veteran Tory Ross, and as Alex Barton, the romantic lead, in Cole Porter’s Du Barry Was a Lady with Bruce Vilanch at San Francisco’s 42nd Street Moon. Other representative roles include Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, Cliff Bradshaw in Cabaret, and Henrik Egermann in A Little Night Music. While in San Francisco, Jack also performed with Beach Blanket Babylon, the longest running musical review in theatre history. RSVP below to attend the event.
