MAFA Chicago is an Official Host for Glappitnova
We are pleased to announce MAFA Chicago as a networking host to kick off Glappitnova’s Wednesday session on July 16th at 5:30pm, along with a few other organizations to create an out of this world experience. MAFA Chicago is an organization that promotes diversity and inclusion within the advertising and communications industries, and we really like what they are doing for the City of Chicago. One thing MAFA Chicago does extremely well is having events you don’t see that often, like Etiquette Dinners, Talks, and Mixers for professionals in the advertising, and communications industries.

Glappitnova was fortunate enough to have Ashley McGowan, Founder of MAFA Chicago to share 5 tips on having diversity in your workspace. As an alum of the University of Illinois Urbana- Champaign, Ashley specialized in diversity at AdClub Illinois, and that has helped her in executing a vision for successfully launching MAFA Chicago, along with other executive members.
“Through her role as VP, Diversity, Ashley worked diligently to secure contacts with agencies in Chicago, consequentially providing opportunities for internships and full-time positions. For these efforts, Ashley was honored as a class of 2008 Most Promising Minority Student.”
